Welcome to the Black Turtle Forge Web Site!
We have been making knives since 1989. Our main line of blades are forged from high carbon tool steels. They are made for every day use as were the knives carried by the frontiersman of the past. They are a tool to be used for pleasure, work, and survival. Each blade is forged and finished by hand. The 9/10 weight leather sheaths are hand sewn and tooled. This being the case no two knives are alike, so you get a one of a kind knife.
We also have a ATS34 line of knives for those that prefer stainless steel over carbon steel.
All work is done in house, from design to finish.
